Raben sind das Thema der Woche bei Think Monday – Think ATC und dazu passt dieses ATC, das ich für den alljährlichen schwarz-weiß-Swap bei Gibgummi gemacht habe. Farben sind bei diesem Swap nicht erlaubt, ausgenommen vielleicht „dunkelweiß“ und „hellschwarz“.

„The Raven“ is this week’s challenge at Think Monday – Think ATC. I made this ATC just recently for the annual black-and-white-ATC-swap on the gibgummi-mailinglist. This swap is strictly no-colours, but „darkwhite“ and „lightblack“ are generally accepted.

Dank der WM ist Fußball das Thema der Woche bei Think Monday – Think ATC und auch bei Crazy Amigo.

Da im Ruhrgebiet Fußball ganzjährig ein großes Thema ist, passt auch eins vom meinen Ruhr 2010-ATCs dazu.

Soccer is this week’s challenge at Think Monday – Think ATC and also at Crazy Amigo. The text on the first ATC translates 54, 74, 90, 2010 and refers not only to the years when Germany won (and will win) the World Cup but also to a song by Sportfreunde Stiller.

As soccer is king in the Ruhr-area all year round I also added one of my Ruhr 2010-ATCs which I made in honour of this year’s European culture capital. The text on that ATC translates „deep in the west“ and refers to the song „Bochum“ by Herbert Grönemeyer.

Bei Think Monday – Think ATC sind Boote und Schiffe das Thema der Woche, für die Crazy Amigos sollen es Strand und Meer sein. Ich habe ewig mit mir gehadert, ob ich die teure Welle von Cherry Pie nun kaufen soll oder nicht. Inzwischen habe ich sie ein paarmal benutzt und bin sehr froh, dass ich das gute Stück nun doch endlich mein eigen nennen kann. Über das Mädel von Acapella musste ich allerdings nicht lange nachdenken.

Ships and boats are this week’s challenge at Think Monday – Think ATC and the Crazy Amigos have asked for sea and beach. I thought and rethought about buying the expensive wave-stamp by Cherry Pie for quite a while. But now I’ve used it a couple of times already and am very glad that I can finally call it my own. I did not have second thoughts about the girl-stamp by Acapella, though.

Bei Think Monday – Think ATC sind Fische das Thema der Woche. Ich habe mich hier hauptsächlich auf das Ausmalen des Hauptmotivs konzentriert und bin ganz zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Benutzt habe ich einen Wassertankpinsel und Farben aus Distresskissen. Den Hintergrund habe ich improvisiert aber das Ergebnis gefällt mir auch sehr gut – es erinnert mich an Sonnenschein auf dem Boden des Schwimmbeckens im Freibad. Am schönsten war es immer im Lehrschwimmbecken (Sternbusch, yeah!): das Wasser war affenkalt aber dafür hatte man das Becken quasi für sich alleine. Um den sonnigen Gesamteindruck zu unterstreichen, habe ich mich für den gelben Rahmen entschieden.

This week’s challenge at Think Monday – Think ATC is „fish“. I concentrated on the colouring for the main motive and am quite happy with the turnout. I used colours from distress-stamppads. I wasn’t quite sure about what to do with the background but now I’m quite satisfied with that, too. It remains me of the effect that sunshine creates on the floor of an open-air swimming-pool. I used to like the teaching pool best: the water was icy but you almost had the whole pool to yourself. To further underline this sunny feeling I decided to give the ATC a yellow framing.

Nee, grün ist einfach nicht meine Farbe und Glossypapier mag mich wohl nach wie vor nicht. Trotzdem hier mein Werk zur aktuellen Herausforderung bei Think Monday – Think ATC.

Sorry folks, green is never going to be a favourite colour with me and glossypaper still doesn’t like me either. Still, here’s my card for this week’s challenge at Think Monday – Think ATC.

Insofern passt die Dreiecke-Challenge bei Think Monday – Think ATC irgendwie ins Konzept. Aber mal ehrlich: VHS-Kurs abgelehnt, weil Stempeln nicht künstlerisch genug ist, endlich einen neuen Badeanzug kaufen wollen aber Laden zu, wieder keine Lampe für’s Schlafzimmer gefunden, alle angepeilten Klamotten bei zwei Aldis schon weggekauft und das Allerallerschlimmste: Suse und Peerke drohen nicht zum Sommermedina kommen zu können. Es gibt doch Tage, die die Welt nicht braucht! Ich will sofort auf den Arm.

Bei Think Monday – Think ATC sind diese Woche Trytichen gefragt. Eine echte Herausforderung! Aber sie kam gerade recht, weil ich schon ewig mal eine ATC-Dreierserie probieren wollte. Und das ist dabei herausgekommen:

The ladies at think monday – think atc have called for tryptichs this week. Quite a challenge! But I’ve been meaning to try and make a row of 3 ATCs for ages so I took the chance and this is how it turned out.

Nachdem mein ganzes Stempelzeug letzte Woche wegen der letzten Malerarbeiten verpackt war, habe ich es heute endlich mal wieder an meinen (aufgeräumten!) Schreibtisch geschafft. Zwar nur für ein ATC, aber das kommt gleich doppelt zum Einsatz: bei Think Monday – Think ATC ist das Thema „Frühlingserwachen“ und bei den Mittwochsstemplern sind „Bäume“ gefragt.

Last week I had to pack up all my stamping stuff as the last paintworks took place. But today I finally made it to my (tidy!) desk again. Just for an ATC, but this one goes to play for two challenges at once: „nature’s awakening“ is the current subject at Think Monday – Think ATC and the wednesdaystampers have asked for „trees“.
