Zerknitterte Zwillinge
A little late but hey, so what? The ladies at Sunday Postcard Art have challenged us to show works with a crackle-effect. I took the chance to try out a technique that I’ve wanted to test for years. The crackle is achieved by ironing crumpled waxpaper onto the card. The card also matches the current three Muses-challenge, too: „What a peach of a pair!“
Tolle Karte!

by johanna — 10. November 2009 @ 15:37It’s never too late, Svenja!! I love your Tweedledum and Tweedledee – the perfect pair. Your colours are wonderful and I love the way the twins are looking through a hole in the paper. Your crackle effect is sensational!! The idea of using wax on crumpled paper is so interesting to me. I will have to try it. Thanks so much for participating in the challenge. Great artwork and a wonderful sense of humour.
