Natty-Style

This week it was up to Lythan to set the dare at the Daring Cardmakers‘ and she asked us to let ourselves inspired by Nat’s wonderful work. To be honest the first thing that came to my mind was not one of her cards but her beautiful grey and white wallpaper that is featured in the background of most of her cards… well, at least the colour scheme was set. Other recurring features on Nat’s cards are awesome combinations of different papers, die cuts (or chipboard pieces) and currently a focal opening.

Texts translate: Still so young? Your not old… just a little retro. How old?

  1. Great colours and love your chip board pieces.

  2. Yes, if only that was wallpaper and not a sheet of 12×12 paper by Studio Calico! I would have most of my house decorated in it.

But this card is very me! Grey is very me at the moment! I love stamping with grey ink instead of black, I love using grey card as a neutral shade, and I absolutely love grey chevron/striped/polka dot patterns!

I love all the speech bubbles on your card Svenja, they go so well with the chevron paper and create a fab graphical look! 🙂

  3. I love those die cuts – just fabulous! And the cool grey paper is spot on!
