Diese Woche feiern wir bei den Daring Cardmakers die besonderen Frauen in unserem Leben. Ich habe das Glück, dass es in meinem Leben ganz viele tolle Frauen gibt, aber sie in Szene zu setzen, ist gar nicht so einfach.
Diese Karte müsste daher auch eigentlich viel größer sein, denn sie ist einer Gruppe von Frauen gewidmet, mit denen sich in den letzten paar Jahren aus einer Hobbybekanntschaft eine sehr innige Freundschaft entwickelt hat: Mädels ihr seid einfach ganz wunderbar!
We’re celebrating women at the Daring Cardmakers‘ this week. I’m lucky to have quite a few women in my life who are all very special to me in their own ways, but I didn’t find it easy to set them in scene.
This card is actually not quite big enough as it is dedicated to a group of women that have developed from hobby buddies into really dear friends over the last couple of years: ladies, you are simply wonderfull!

Und schon wieder ist eine Woche rum… und dann bin ich auch schon wieder an der Reihe, eine Challenge bei den Daring Cardmakers zu stellen. Wie bei vielen Stemplern (und anderen Bastlern) hat sich bei mir eine Menge altes Zeug angesammelt, weil man „damit bestimmt noch was Cooles machen“ kann. Und diese Woche ist die Zeit reif: es wird recycelt. Ich habe eine alte Zigarillodose mit Gesso, Gelliplate, Stempeln, Stencils und Collagematerial neu gestaltet. Ein Schwarm Plastikflamingos ist schon eingezogen.

And another week has gone… meaning that it’s high time for another Daring Cardmakers Challenge. As many crafters (I hear) I have collected quite a bit of old stuff as one „can for sure still make a cool project“ from it. So: this week is the week: recycling time! I worked on an old cigarillo tin using gesso, gelliplate, stamps, stencils and a little ephemera. And a couple of flamingoes has already moved in.

Diese Woche dreht sich bei den Daring Cardmakers alles um (verrückte) Märzhasen. Von mir gibt’s ein Tag mit dem Hasen aus Alice im Wunderland. Ich möchte mich für die rüde Ausdrucksweise entschuldigen – aber dem Spruch konnte ich in diesem Kontext nun wirklich nicht widerstehen.
This week is all about (mad) march hares at the Daring Cardmakers‘. I made a Tag featuring the character from Alice in Wonderland. I apologize for foul language – but the sentiment was simply irresistable.

Der März ist gekommen, die Bäume schlagen aus… *sing* Ach nein, das war ja ein ganz anderer Monat! Vor lauter Sonnenschein ist mir schon richtig frühlingshaft. Entsprechend sonnig ist auch mein Inspirationsfoto für die Daring Cardmakers ausgefallen (entstanden auf Urk, Holland im letzten September). Mindestens 3 Elemente sollen es auch auf eure Karten schaffen (Farben zählen als ein Element), das kriegt ihr doch locker hin!
Ich habe mich für Farben, Schiff, Netz, „Seil“ und das Dreiecksmuster entschieden.

I went for colours, ship, net, „rope“ and the triangle pattern.
