…ist diese Woche bei den Mittwochsstemplern gefragt. Der Hintergrund ist mit Distress Spiced Marmelade und Mustard Seed gemacht, zwei echte Lieblingsfarben, weil sie so wunderschön leuchten – auch wenn das im Scan nicht wirklich gut rauskommt.
The wednesdaystampers have asked for all things orange this week. The background was made with Distress Spiced Marmelade und Mustard Seed, two of my favourites because of their wonderful luminance – although they didn’t scan very well in this particular case.

Berühmte Gesichter sind diese Woche das Thema bei Theme Thursday – und welches Gesicht wäre berühmter als das der Mona Lisa? Ich hoffe das zählt, auch wenn das Gesicht nicht vollständig zu sehen ist. Die Karte habe ich schon Anfang des Jahres gemacht als es bei gibgummi einen ATC-Swap zum Thema „Mona goes wild“ gab. Ich versuche immer für die Veranstalterin auch noch eine größere Karte passend zum Thema zu machen. Danke für’s Anschauen!
Famous Faces are called for this week at Theme Thursday – and whos face could be more famous than Mona’s? Hope this does count although you don’t see a complete face! I made the card earlier this year when took part in an ATC-Swap that was titled „Mona goes wild“. I usually try to make a bigger card on the same subject for the host. Thanks for looking!

…sind schon am Montag ein paar lang ersehnte Gummis von Sunday International und Zettiology. Eine Freundin hat ihren Urlaub in Chicago verbracht und so konnte ich die Portokosten sparen. Bei meiner letzten Übersee-Lieferung waren es über 30 Dollar – da überlegt man sich die Bestellung mehr als einmal! Gestern habe ich dementsprechend den Nachmittag damit verbracht die „Beute“ zu flauschen.
Die Froschmotive von Anthony & Burt sind für meine Verhältnisse zwar eher niedlich (und leider viiiielll zu groß für ATCs) aber sie gefallen mir total gut. Auf der größeren Platte waren ganze 14 völlig geniale Extra-Fliegen und diverse Seerosenblätter mit drauf, das war natürlich eine super Überraschung!
New Arrival! Some rubberstamps I had ordered from the US have arrived this monday. A friend spent her easter-holidays at Chicago and was so kind to take them in her luggage so I was able to save on shipping costs. The last time I had rubber shipped from overseas the shipping was more than $ 30 – that gets you to think twice before you place an order! So naturally I spent the whole of yesterday afternoon attaching my „prey“ to velcro.
The frog-motives from Anthony & Burt are rather cute compared to the stuff I usually buy (and unfortunately faaaar too large for ATCs) but I like them a lot. As a very welcome surprise I found 14 extra-flies and some lily-pads on the larger sheet – and these flies are soooo gorgeous!

So, nach langem Grübeln bin ich nun doch endlich unter die Blogger gegangen. In erster Linie wird es hier um mein Stempelhobby gehen, aber auch Filme, Bücher und gutes Essen sollen ab und an Thema sein. Und Schokolade natürlich. Ich freue mich über Kommentare und Verbesserungsvorschläge und hoffe, es gefällt euch auf meiner Seite!
